These are really neat. You're very good with colour. I love the backgrounds in all your paintings. Even though they are are basic, they're very strong. (I'm especially attracted to that yellow. It's excellent). I probably should have checked before I started commenting, but do you use a tablet or a mouse?
Thank you! I love that I can achieve vitually the same textures on ArtRage as I can with real oil paints.
Oh if only I had a tablet! But my mouse seems to be doing me well so far. I've been pretty hopeless with other artistic programs like photoshop and MS Paint, but this program has been really responsive to my movements!
Heh, I think it's been my toiling with tiny metal bits for jewelry thats helped me control my mouse. Believe me, the results have been far better than anything I thought possible from my fingers regarding a computer...
Are you in possesion of a tablet? It certainly looks like it! You're portraiture is no less awesome in digital form.
Hot Toddy represents my progress in the fine arts, my tastes and passions, and my pursuit of aesthetic assets and modern finery. Fashion, stemming from my lifestyle, is a large part of my life--because a large part of my life runs on aesthetic fuel. I believe in the "art" of fashion, and in art iteself as a catalyst for greater understanding, cultural expressions, history making, and productivity.
I believe in quality of product and pride in personal craft as hopefully you will see in my artwork and the creations of other crafters (commercial, artisanal, or otherwise) that I display.

Yeah, it's deffinately a great program for painters; it feels comfortable to use unlike PainterX or Photoshop--much less intimidating in my opinion :P
